What made you search today?

Most people call us right after a moment like one of these.

Someone got bitten, or almost did: a guest, a neighbor, a delivery driver.
A fight between your own dogs that you had to break up with your hands.
The lunging, barking walk you now only do early in the morning or after dark.
A new rescue who isn't the dog you expected.
A baby, grandkids or a move on the way, and you need to know your dog will be safe.
You've stopped taking them anywhere because it isn't worth the stress, or the embarrassment.

That moment is the best time to start. Reactivity and aggression get stronger every time they're practiced. The sooner your dog learns another way, the faster it changes.

Not just a "trained dog." A dog you can take places.

Almost every family we work with wants the same thing: to stop managing their dog and start living with them again.

  • Brunch on a downtown patio while your dog holds a calm down-stay
  • A loose-leash walk through the neighborhood, past the dog behind the fence
  • Guests at the door without the barking, jumping or crating
  • Your kids or grandkids safely walking the dog
  • Hikes, breweries, Lowe's, the lake, road trips
  • Your dogs at peace with each other at home

Our difference

Most trainers train the dog. We train you too.

When owners tell us what they want in a trainer, the #1 answer isn't "fix my dog." It's "help me understand my dog and show me what to do." That's how our whole program is built: your dog trains with our team all day, and you get a one-hour private lesson at every pickup.

If you've tried…What usually happensHow Complete K-9 is different
A board & trainThe dog learns. You get a few lessons at the end and it fades at home.Day training, one day a week. You learn every step the same week your dog does.
Group classesFine for basics. It falls apart around real triggers in public.One-on-one behavior work, then field trips to prove it in public.
In-home sessionsAn hour a week isn't enough reps for a reactive dog.A full day of training each week, plus your private lesson.
YouTube & doing it yourselfGood intentions, but no one to read your dog or check your timing.Trainers who read your dog and coach your timing until it clicks.
Medication aloneIt can calm the nervous system, but it can't teach new behavior. We work alongside your vet. Medication helps your dog feel better; training helps them do better.
People-first dog training

You haven't failed your dog. You just haven't had a plan yet.

An owner sitting with her German Shepherd

Many of the families we meet have tried hard. Some were told their dog was "untrainable." Some felt judged by a trainer, or watched one be harsh with a dog they love.

That won't happen here. We explain why your dog does what it does, we meet you where you are, and we never make you feel dumb for asking. No question is too small.

Common questions

Do you work with dogs that have bitten someone?

Yes. Bite history, dog-to-dog aggression, resource guarding and fear of people are a big part of what we do. Most dogs do well in day training; complex cases may need a specialized program, which we'll tell you honestly at the evaluation.

Will training change my dog's personality?

No. Your dog goes home every night, and we keep the personality you love. They just learn structure, calm and how to listen.

How much time will I need at home?

Not much. We build the homework into what you already do: a place command while you cook, a heel on your normal walk. Consistency matters more than hours.

Do you use training tools?

We're balanced trainers. Everything starts with positive reinforcement. Tools like a prong collar are introduced only when your dog is ready, and we explain and coach you on them first. E-collars are used only in the off-leash phase of Mastery. If you have concerns, bring them to the evaluation.

My vet put my dog on medication. Do I still need training?

Most likely, yes. Medication can help your dog feel calmer, but it can't teach new behavior or show you how to handle triggers. We work alongside your vet's recommendations.

Where are you located?

On a 6-acre campus off Duffie Road in Simpsonville, serving Greenville, Simpsonville, Fountain Inn, Greer, Mauldin and the Upstate.
